Frequently Asked Questions

+ Do I need a real estate agent to purchase a new Evergreen Homes house?

No, you do not need a real estate agent to purchase an Evergreen Homes home, however if you do have one, make sure your agent is present with you at your first visit to our Sales Office. Evergreen Homes does participate in a Broker’s Co-Op. If your agent is unable to come with you during your first visit, they may register at our website or call our Sales Office ahead of your visit to register with our New Homes Consultant.

+ What happens once you have made a reservation to build your dream home within one of our Evergreen Homes community?

Once you have made your reservation to build your dream home within one of our communities, our New Home Consultant will schedule your contract date within 5 days or at your earliest convenience. During this time prior to your contract date, we suggest you begin the process of getting prequalified with either our preferred lender or your lender of choice. Your lender will let you know how much home you can afford and then you can begin to make those important decisions on which home you would like to build, and what designer options and upgrades you would like to include in your dream home to make it your very own.

+ How quickly after the purchase agreement is signed, will the construction of my home begin?

After you have signed on the dotted line, selected your lot, plan, elevation, and made your designer selections for your dream home, it will take approximately 30 days to finalize all permit approvals with our local jurisdiction. During the permit approval phase, you will see our construction crew preparing your home’s site. Once we have the green light from our local jurisdiction, Evergreen Homes will break ground and begin the construction of your dream home.

+ How can I follow the progress and receive updates throughout the construction of my dream home?

You may contact your New Homes Consultant and they will be able to provide you the most current progress and update of your dream home.

During the construction of your dream home, homebuyers are not allowed on the premises without our New Home Consultant. We are aware of the excitement of seeing your dream home become a reality, however, it is still a construction zone and we have safety procedures in place for everyone’s safety.

+ What if I have any questions regarding the construction of my home?

Contact your New Home Consultant, they are well informed with the status of your home and will assist you with your questions.
